The oldest nomination application not allocated for processing* was lodged on 15 December 2023.

Nominations, applications and registrations of interest (ROI)

Skilled Nominated (subclass 190) visa:

  • Nominations – 374 of 600 places used
  • Nomination applications lodged but not decided – 42
  • Invitations to apply for nomination issued but not yet accepted – 11
  • Registrations of interest on hand – 495

Skilled Work Regional (subclass 491) visa:

  • Nominations – 267 of 600 places used
  • Nomination applications lodged but not decided – 32
  • Invitations to apply for nomination issued but not yet accepted – 16
  • Registrations of interest on hand – 418

*Migration Tasmania aims to provide an outcome within ten days after a case is allocated for processing.

Migration Tasmania selects ROIs to apply for nomination on an ongoing basis, with up to 30 invitations issued each week. Only the most competitive ROIs are chosen to apply for nomination.
