In preparation for the ACT Governments’ new subclass 190 merit based matrix which will take effect on 29 November 2018, the ACT Government has made the following announcement: The ACT Government’s current system will go OFF LINE at 4pm (AEST) on Tuesday 27 November 2018 to enable the system change over to the Matrix. If you intend to start an application for ACT nomination for an ‘open’ occupation (under the current nomination criteria), the application must be submitted (and service fee paid) before 4 pm on Tuesday 27 November 2018. Any ‘in progress’ applications that have not been submitted (and service fee paid) by 4pm will automatically lapse and cannot be reactivated. Any applications lodged and paid for before 4pm on Tuesday 27 November will be assessed and finalised under the existing guidelines.
