VETASSESS has commenced issuing digital badges

As part of an exciting new initiative with the Australian Marketing Institute, VETASSESS has commenced issuing digital badges to all applicants who receive a successful Skills Assessment outcome for the following occupations:

• Advertising Specialist (ANZSCO 225111)
• Market Research Analyst (ANZSCO 225112)
• Marketing Specialist (ANZSCO 225113)

A digital badge is a web-enabled version of an applicant’s credential evaluation, which means that it can be verified online —instantly. They can easily display and share their badge for maximum visibility and recognition.

Badges provide employers and peers concrete evidence of what the applicant had to do to complete their Skills Assessment and earn the credential, as well as highlighting what they are capable of.

A digital badge gives the applicant a verified credential for the assessment they have completed, which will increase their visibility to future employers and may help them find a new job once they have completed their migration journey to Australia.
